About
I’m a geek. My first computer was a Radio Shack Color Computer 2. I excitingly upgrade to the CoCo 3 before moving into the PC world, where I remained for more than 20 years before the agony drove me over the edge and in February 2007 I got rid of all the PCs in the house and switched to Mac. My life has been much happier since, the tranquility interrupted only when forced to perform maintenance on the PCs at work. I am, after all, an IT Manager in a company that’s full of PCs.
I don’t consider myself and ubergeek in any particular area. Some may call me a guru, but they don’t know that what I really am is just a very good researcher. I dabble in all areas of geekdom, from computers to gadgets, Star Wars to Star Trek and everything in between and beyond. I watch TED presentations. I re-use computer paper that’s only printed on one side. I watch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, Conan O’Brien and Letterman because I think Jay Leno is nothing but a foul-mouth pervert who jumps on any opportunity to make a sex joke. I can’t ski. I can swim. I don’t particularly like mushrooms, but I will eat them.
I’m married to a wonderful woman named Hannah, with whom I have two increbile daughters that are growing up as gadget-hungry as me.
